I'll be the first to admit, I am a city girl. Put me in the middle of a busy city square and I am happy. I wasn't expecting much on the way to my first trip to Yosemite. But when I got there the beauty of the place blew me away. As if there was no one around us, my husband and I played a song on our iPhone and danced under the view of half dome. It was an amazing and romantic moment. I determined that I had to paint Half Dome as a sort of tribute to such a beautiful memory.
